Blog - Test
Today, Mr. Schick gave us the chapter 3 test, which is kind of unexpected since the test date on veracross is Tuesday. We took the test anyway. After review for 10 minutes, we took the test. Generally speaking, the test is not hard but i miss a few question since i did not cover the following points during the review. This test is going to be the first chapter test that i fail to get a 100 :(. But it's fine~ I did my best.

Today is Chinese Lunar New Year! Mr. Schick bring us sushi and red packet in the class, which is very surprising! I picked the smallest one among all the envelopes and actually got a dollar. which is more than the sum of pennies in each bags! That just made my day. And then we watched the Chinese New Year celebration TV show, which gets boring and boring each year :( Anyway, it still feels good to be able to celebrate our holiday in US!
Happy Chinese New Year!

In addition, we introduced the tradition of Chinese New Year to Mr. Schick since the lunar New Year day is tomorrow. Mr. Schick was shocked about the tradition of giving red envelop with money inside. It was a fun class after all.

DoC Rewrite
Today, Mr. Schick divide us in group for rewriting the Declaration of Independence accord to the current situation of U.S. My group was in charge of writing the first part. For me, i tried to paraphrase the original one while adding some new content in it. It was tough to write since DoI have a national-wise audience range and thus i need to take the preference of the majority in consideration instead of focusing on a relative small group of people. Despite the difficulty, i think we can do it if everybody can contribute some effort.

Blog - Test Score & Poem
During the class period, Mr. Schick tell the test score to the people who wants to know earlier. I got a 97 on the multiple choice portion and 98 on the essay, which are pretty decent results to me. Later, we read our poem again with Suky. It was a fun time after all.
