Growth of towns and cities

Today, we discussed the growth of towns and cities.

  • Common - An open area shared by all the villagers
  • Boston and New York - Depended on shipping
  • Philadelphia - Street lights, fire company, library
  • 1636 - Harvard College
  • 1693 - The College of William and Mary
During the class, we talked about Mr. Schick's experience at Chicago during the weekend for the whole class period. He is so excited about sharing his story and everybody seems have fun listening. My favorite part is when he was on the plane and motivate other passengers to cheer for a team. It was so cool to see different people all excited and cheer together.
