Dred Scott
  • Being lived in a free state for four years
  • Court - rule against him

    • Scott is not allow to bring a case to the supreme court since slave is not an U.S. citizen
    • The law considered slaves property. The owner could move anywhere and still own his property. 
    • The Missouri Compromise was against the law. Congress did not have the power to decide where slavery should be allowed. (State decide) (Lose balance)
