For me, i was not as awake as other mods but i still have a good focus during the class. The final is coming and i think i will doing very well on the US History exam.

Poetry
Today, we did our Paul Revere poetry! I think everybody did a great great job on it and it was a fun time. First we read our stanza one by one and then explained what does the stanza is about. The whole poet is about the start of the American Revolution War. It is a literary work that is extremely popular in Mr. Schick's generation. I personally like this work also since it is pretty catchy and i'm having fun reading it.

Section 3 question
In the beginning of the class, a lot of us are either tired, sick, or bored. As result, Mr. Schick gave us reading assignment as classwork instead of taking notes with PPT
Section 2 Review
1. The colonist felt very angry about the proclamation since it had impair their benefit dramatically.
2. The colonist protest British laws and acts by not purchasing British goods, refuse paying taxes, and forming a protest group called the Sons of Liberty.
3. I will write protest letters and calling other colonist to sign it.
4. Now is the critical moment in making decision. We either strengthen our mind to fight the vicious British for our glorious freedom, or retreat over and over again until we are completely unable to fight like a frog in the hot water. If both of them will result death and casualties, then we shall rely on the one which is worth more to risk.

Notes - General Review
Today Mr. Schick use a PPT instead of writing notes on the board in order to not raise up that screen anymore. We review about the notes from this and last week and talk about some pictures on the PPT. Also Mr. Schick complained about Los Angeles for heavy traffic and dirty environment. I totally agree with it since that is what exactly happened in China. The government keep developing the city even though it ends up not as comfortable as before.

Sep 14 - HW review, Columbus
During the first mod of the class, Mr. Schick told us to introduce our National Anthem and sing it. Me and my Chinese fellow had sing our Chinese National Anthem and i felt really happy since i haven't sing that song for almost a year. Later when we are reviewing our homework, Mr. Schick vividly demonstrate us how scary and cruel the Viking is by showing us their picture and a metal song from a band call "Led Zeppelin", which favors me a lot. After that Robert had volunteer to be our teacher in reviewing homework. It was fun to have him to talk about his history and answering our questions. In the end, Mr. Schick revealed us the dark side of Christopher Columbus, which is very surprising for us.

In the beginning, we are asked to send our blog address to Mr. Schick and later he told us the purpose of having us write a blog every day--for refreshing memory and preparing test. Also we talk about the reason of handwriting note in class--for helping us to memorize better as well. At the end of the class we discuss Nomads and Mr. Schick demonstrate us the process of how civilization is form-moving for food, to settle down and the specific division of labor. It is hilarious to see Mr. Schick show us how Nomad hunts by pretending as one of the Nomad people.
